I strive to provide the highest quality private guitar lessons to my students. To ensure in maintaining a professional and efficient learning environment, I have established the following lesson policies:

  1. Payment Policy: All lessons must be paid for in advance. I offer a variety of payment options, such as monthly, bi-weekly, or by the lesson. I accept payments in the form of cash, Venmo, and PayPal.
  2. Scheduling Policy: Private lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. I do recommend scheduling your lessons as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Students who are unable to attend a scheduled lesson must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule. No refunds will be provided for missed lessons without proper notification.
  3. Cancellation Policy: If a student cancels a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, no refund or makeup lesson will be provided. However, I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and will work with you to reschedule missed lessons whenever possible. In the event of a cancellation with an in-person lesson, zoom makeup lessons are an eligible form of makeup. If I have to cancel a lesson within 24 hours, I will work with you to provide a makeup lesson within your payment period, or provide a refund for that lesson. 
  4. Lesson Duration Policy: All private lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes in duration. If a student arrives late for a lesson, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. If I arrive late to a lesson, than I will extend your lesson time as needed to assure that you get your full lesson.
  5. Lesson Content Policy: My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and skill level. I will work with you to develop a personalized curriculum that meets your specific goals and interests. However, it is expected that students come prepared to each lesson and practice regularly in between lessons.
  6. Studio Environment Policy: We maintain a clean, professional, and safe environment in our studio. Students are expected to treat the studio and equipment with respect and to follow all posted rules and regulations.
  7. Parent/Guardian Policy: For students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present during all in-home lessons.
